It was wonderful to be able to meet many of you this afternoon at our Meet and Greet. If you and your child weren't able to come, I look forward to meeting your child on the first day of school!
Our day will be a full one, and I want to make sure it runs smoothly from start to finish. Here is what your child will need on the first day... 1. A pocket folder with your child's first and last name printed on the outside of the folder. 2. A healthy snack, and a drink. 3. A full water bottle with your child's name printed on it. Hydration is KEY to learning! If your child drinks a lot, pack 2! 4. A lunch from home or a plan to have school lunch. Your child should know the plan and be able to answer, "Do you have a lunch from home or are you having school lunch?" 5. A SMILE...those might be tricky because I know they are nervous, but we'll make the day GREAT! Prior to the first day, it is essential that I know your child's dismissal plan. If your child is riding a bus, this should include the number of the bus that your child will be riding. If you have not yet given me this information, please email it to me. If I could get it by Friday morning (8/31), that would be FANTASTIC! Bus routes are posted on our school's website. www.nbcs.k12.nh.us Parents, as big of a step as this is for your child, it's a big one for you too! Your children are ready to fly, and you've given them the wings! Have a wonderful weekend! Hello Families, I am looking forward to meeting many of you on our Meet the Teacher and Classmates Day. As a reminder, this is on August 29th from 1:30~2:30. It will be important for me to know your child's after-school dismissal plan. Please be prepared on the 29th to let me know if your child will be a walker/parent pick up, going to the after-school program, or taking the bus. The bus routes are listed on our school's website. www.nbcs.k12.nh.us If your child has a different plan on different days, please let me know that too. This is going to be a great year. See you soon! If you are unable to come and visit on the 29th, please email me your child's dismissal plans. |
