Hello June, This week, we will be learning about traditions. We talked about traditions last week during Friday's ZOOM. This week, we will read about some traditions, and then participate in some New Boston Central School first grade traditions. Speaking of traditions, another NBCS tradition is FIELD DAY! This will be held virtually this year. I will share this video with the kids today during our ZOOM, but I wanted to share it here as well. https://youtu.be/IAe82cad0SQ In today's ZOOM, students will read the Wonders' story, A Spring Birthday with me. We will focus on reading this to look for clues to the theme. We will also review the contents of today's math lesson by playing a game called SCOOT. To play this game, students should come prepared to the meeting with a paper numbered 1-15 with room to complete 15 math problems. They should also have a Hundreds Chart. After today's 10:00 ZOOM lesson, students will be prepared to head over to SEESAW to complete the activities for today. Today is the day to complete their Weather Journal as well! Please be sure that your child is taking the time to do XtraMath or to practice addition and subtraction facts. Comments are closed.
