This week we will read and learn about where our food comes from. We will learn about Producers and Consumers.
We will read several versions of The Little Red Hen. We will use this familiar folktale to identify who the producers and consumers are. We will also revisit goods and services. On Friday, we created "Star Gazer" models of The Big Dipper. Please have your child show you how this works. Your child will need a flashlight. If your child has two flashlights, he/she can explain to you why we don't see stars in the daytime. Last week I re-sent your child's Wonders access card home. Going forward, please use the information presented in my letter to reinforce our schoolwork at home.
