Your children continue to grow and flourish. I am very proud of their efforts.
On Tuesday, we will be having a Celebrate Winter Snack Party. I have heard from a couple of people that they are able to provide a pre-packaged/store bought treat. We could use one or two more items if possible. I would also like to do a small trinket exchange. See last week's update for details. If this is a hardship please let me know. I can provide extras for your child to distribute. There are 12 students in our classroom. The class has done an outstanding job throughout the school year, and I also proclaim Tuesday as PAJAMA DAY for the Shining Super Stars. Your child is welcome to come dressed in pajamas. Slippers are okay too, as long as they have a rubber sole and grips! Our focus next week will be to apply our understanding of bar graphs. The kids are doing a great job with this. It is important for your child to be precise when completing a bar graph. Next week, they will be asked to collect data and to show it on a bar graph. We will learn more about the Winter Solstice on Tuesday as well. Now that the work of plowing and shoveling is done, I hope you had the opportunity to enjoy the white stuff! Comments are closed.
