We ended our week by composting our decomposing pumpkin! We will begin our week by answering and conducting an investigation into "How can we grow a pumpkin in cold weather?"
This week we will focus on setting in both our reading and our writing. We will write and describe a place that we enjoy. We are learning to organize our writing by sequencing our key details. We are finishing up Unit 3 in math. We are becoming proficient with identifying and locating larger numbers! We are learning to solve addition and subtraction problems in many ways. We continue to learn to transition our bodies and minds for the jobs ahead. We take lots of movement breaks to get our bodies going and to get our bodies to slow down. We are learning how to move from times of activity, to times of quiet, and to be appropriate in our transitions. A letter went home about the PTA's Theme Basket Fundraiser. Our basket is Chocolate Lovers! Heather B. will be spearheading this for our class, so she will be updating you. This is an awesome fundraiser, that helps to provide enrichment activities for NBCS. If you have not yet signed up for a conference, there are still slots available. Please see my "Sign Ups" page. If these times do not work, please contact me directly so that we can work together to find a time to chat. Thank you families for your many donations! Your help with soft tissues, sanitizing wipes, etc. is very much appreciated! Comments are closed.
