Next week is a big week of reviewing and applying what we have learned! Wow, your children have grown! During class, we will be working on showing what we know in both reading and math. We will be working on showing how we solve number stories, and we will be showing what we know about identifying key details in our reading and writing. Our SEESAW work will have many opportunities to review and show what we know too. On Monday, your child will be assigned the first step in IXL. This is an assessment to see their present levels. This will take a while...PLEASE, break this down into small chunks...10-15 minutes, and have your child complete it over the course of the week. It does not need to be completed in one sitting. The assessment will pick up where your child left off. Hybrid Learners I sent home the information on your child's USERNAME and PASSWORD in your child's folder on Thursday. Remote Learners, this was sent via e-mail on Wednesday. Important Happenings Next Week: Walking Field Trip: Hybrid Learners on Tuesday. Permission slips were sent home via e-mail on Wednesday and in folders on Thursday for those I did not receive. Halloween Parade: Remote Learners on Wednesday. (Please drop off at 9:30...I will wait out back. Children should have costumes on and masks must be worn. We will have a socially distanced snack together and then the parade. I will meet you out front for parent pick up. Details on driving route for parade are in the Bobcat News. Hybrid Learners on Thursday. Children should BRING their costumes, and label everything. Costumes should be easy to put on. Details on driving route for parade are in the Bobcat News. We will have some treats after the party. If you have volunteered for your child to bring in something, please send it in with your child that morning OR you may drop it off earlier in the week at the office.
