We have been learning about how scientists know so much. We have learned that scientists learn a lot by being observant and asking curiosity questions. We've been using our magnifying glasses and observing objects. We are then thinking of questions we have about these objects.
We've had lots of curiosity questions about our caterpillars, and we've observed that some have become chrysalides. During math time we have been practicing using new math tools. We have been using Rekenreks ( a tool similar to an abacus) and shape templates. We are working on our number order, the concepts of 1 more and 1 less, and estimating. Our Social Studies work has been focusing on learning the rules of our school and working together to follow the rules of being Safe, Respectful, and Responsible. Next week we will continue to focus on this. We will establish our classroom constitution as we learn about the U.S. Constitution and recognize Constitution Day. Comments are closed.
